I’m a recovering filmmaker who now writes children’s books. My writing was selected for the Undiscovered Voices anthology, won Skylark Literary’s Marvellous Middle-Grade competition and was longlisted for both the WriteMentor Children’s Novel Award and the Times/Chicken House Children’s Fiction competition. You can read more about my middle-grade fantasy adventure The Sea Lord’s Curse here.
As a filmmaker, my comedies ‘The Choir’ and ‘Divine’ won best short film awards at festivals worldwide. My adaptation of the Saki short story ‘Sredni Vashtar’, on the other hand, was mostly hated worldwide apart from a small unexplained fan base in Italy.
You’ll find my CV as a screenwriter and director here.
